Pauls Family Vacation 2010 Pt 2

Sorry it wasn't letting me add anymore to the last post... It is getting lengthy so I will wrap it up...

Because of Thursday being such a long day we all relaxed Friday. A few of us ventured to try the Jet Boats. Which if you ever get a chance I would recommend, it was a blast. Sorry I don’t have pictures of this because I didn’t want to risk my camera getting wet! Which after riding, it would have!
A lot of time was also spent playing card games.

All in all the trip was great, but because I am kind of a routine type person, I was ready to come back home.
Here are a few other pictures of the girls that I thought were cute. To view more click HERE

Pauls Family Vacation 2010

Well my hope of being able to blog a lot on vacation did not come true. Not because of lack of time or family members to help watch the girls while I secluded myself for a few minutes, but because of the lack of internet access. Not only was there lack of internet access but there was hardly no cell phone reception! I DID NOT expect that in a big tourist town! However, after getting over my initial frustration, I enjoyed not being connected to the world, leaving it to truly feel like a getaway.
We (the extended Pauls family) vacationed at the Wisconsin Dells for a week. We stayed at the Christmas Mountain Resort, which was very nice and had plenty of room to accommodate all of us. We even had two kitchens  and washer and dryers, which made it so nice to come home with all of the clothes clean!
We played Putt Putt at a place called Pirates Cove..

They were so fun to watch. Evelynn actually hit a hole in one on one of the holes!!

We also rode the Ducks on the Lower Dells.
She was alittle scared at first.

She is such a ham!
We spent all day Thursday at a theme park called Mt. Olympus. I was excited but yet hesitant about this, because I wasn't sure how Evelynn would do seeing as she is our cautious one and of the two she would be the one riding more rides. However, they proved me wrong. Olivia was the one who was scarred! Evelynn enjoyed it so much! Before the ride was even done she would hold her little finger out at us and say "one more".  It was cute!
This is the first year that Mt. Olympus has done "A Night at the Theme Park". They close the park at 7pm and re-open at 8 and you pay $5 more to get access to some of the bigger rides and go karts. Seeing as how we spent most of the day at the kiddie part or go karts with an hour or so break at the pool, we took advantage of this. Grandma and Grandpa happily watched them back at the hotel. We were only about 5 minutes from our resort, so we (adults, plus my niece and nephew) were able to go back and take showers and return with plenty of time to ride the rides. It was nice to have adult time, but I really didn't enjoy the rides. They were all wooden and hurt so bad as it jostled you around that I didn't even ride the rest.

Here a photos from the after hours.
