Tulip Time Fireworks

Being a Holland native, this is a week I really miss living in Holland. Tulip time started...Dutch Dancing...Lots of people...Yummy unhealthy food...Parades...All make up the wonderful week of Tulip Time. And I miss it, and really miss being a dutch dancer.
Since I have moved to Kalamazoo we have tried every year to get there atleast one day of the week. However there is always something that goes wrong and it doesn't happen. Last year we made it, but we were too rushed to get back home that we didn't get to really enjoy it.
This year we went on Saturday night for the fireworks. We attempted to get there earlier to see a dance, ( I really think Evelynn would like it), but that didn't work as planned. After dinner and a quick stop at Old Navy to buy warmer clothes (we did not anticipate nor plan for any rain), we made it just in time to see the fireworks. Despite the rain and all, we still stayed through it all.
Here are a few pictures

Olivia LOVED the fireworks!

Evelynn was way too tired to care.

Maybe next year we can make it and be able to enjoy it!
