The doctors are sure making a fortune off us this winter. Today, I had to bring the girls in again because they just aren't getting better. Olivia has been holding a temp for days now, even with meds in her. At one point it reached 103.7, not a fun night at all. Evelynn is also getting a lot of headaches lately, which is obviously concerning. At least we were able to get some answers though. They both have nasty double ear infections. The doc even thinks that Olivia's is still the same one from about a month ago. Every time Olivia gets these, 1) we never know because doesn't complain about it and 2) it takes several courses of antibiotics and changing the kinds just to get rid of it. Thankfully this time the doctor just put her right on the stronger one.
Regarding Evelynn's headaches, well we are journaling whenever she gets one, to see if we can find a common link. Not sure I like this approach, seeing as how she has been dealing with these since January. I had a hard time
arguing back though, seeing as he didn't find anything alarming. So I will give it a month (obviously unless it gets worse), continue to take notes and go from there.Hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon for her too.
I am SO ready for spring time!
